Cochise Stronghold is a chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) and is based in Benson, Arizona. We meet on the third Wednesday of October, November, January, February, April, and May. The Cochise Stronghold Chapter NSDAR was approved by the NSDAR on February 9, 2009. We are one of forty chapters in the state of Arizona.

The NSDAR was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. It is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children. The NSDAR consists of over 185,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the world.

Any woman 18 years or older
—regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background—who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
